Just 'Effin DubStep This Far Cry 3 Teaser Man!

The video above is only 15 seconds long, but I think it speaks volumes for where Far Cry 3 is headed. Remember that trailer at E3? Remember the guy talking about insanity? I'm pretty sure that's his voice all over again in this trailer.
Who's he telling to shoot him? Who is refusing? Who shoots him in the end? Why does everything Ubisoft do get touched by dub step? These questions and more must be answered in the comments.
PlayStation Plus users, don't forget to download Far Cry 2 for free later today!
Far Cry 2 spent all this time building an immersive, realistic world where weapons degrade and resource management matters and yadda yadda yadda, and then they made all of that pointless by adding in unlimited, constantly-respawning enemies. At this point in the (game) game, it's not enough to give me a static sandbox and say "go play!" If you're not going to give me a highly cinematic and focused narrative/gameplay experience, then you'd better allow me to affect and dominate my environment over the long-term.
Combined with the drive distances, I was pretty turned off.
Ya know, that's exactly the way I felt about the game as well. I was so excited to get it because of how much I loved FarCry. I never took into consideration the problems of weapon management combined with an infinite respawn for the enemies. I think just having the enemies constantly respawn was annoying enough. But you're completely right on the drive distances... Insane. I like the idea of an open world, but the game was missing something. I guess it also didn't help that a lot of places in the game all looked the same. I probably put a good six or seven hours into it before I felt like I was playing through all of the same stuff.
