Keeping Up With the Assassins and Multiplayer Beta Announcement

Posted on Wednesday, August 10 @ 14:30:06 Eastern by
Jeez. I thought I knew everything I needed to know about Assassin's Creed. I've never read any of the comics or played any of the handheld games, but do you need to know much more than what's presented in the main game? Let Ubisoft show you exactly what you're missing out on:

The French publisher has also notified us that the Assassin's Creed: Revelations multiplayer beta will be exclusive to the PlayStation 3, much like it was for Brotherhood. While the beta hits on September 3rd, it'll run for just over a week and end on September 11th:

The multiplayer beta offers access to nine characters (The Sentinel, The Vanguard, The Guardian, The Vizier, The Thespian, The Deacon, The Bombardier, The Trickster, and The Champion), three maps (Knight's Hospital, Antioch, and Constantinople) and four playable modes.

Face off with friends in Wanted's 8-player free-for-all and Manhunt's four-v-four-hide-and-go-murder. These variants won't be too different from their Brotherhood counterparts. Two new game types will also be on hand in the beta: Deathmatch and Artifact Assault. Even more modes will make it to retail when Assassin's Creed: Revelations hits store shelves on November 15th.

alright first of all f**k you french developer. How about since its a cross platform game you make the beta, here's a wild stab in the dark, CROSS PLATFORM. Maybe then you can actually work out bugs for the ps3 the same time as you work out the bugs for the 360. They are different systems for a reason each will have its own set of bugs

    second of all

OH MY GOD IT LOOKS AWESOME
