GAMING NEWSKevin Butler Explains Why He Can't Be The PlayStation All-Stars BossPosted on Thursday, July 19 @ 12:38:48 Eastern by Daniel Bischoff
![]() The VP of Everything at Sony has taken to Twitter to clear some things up. I know many of us speculated that Kevin Butler would at least be some kind of mid-boss in PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, the VP of Bosses if you will, but it doesn't seem to be the case. The tweet above went out earlier today, but I'm still wondering what role KB plays at Sony and PlayStation these days? Has he faded into the background, never to be heard from again, at least outside of Twitter? Has all joking been pushed aside to make room for "Michael" and other community and player-focused ads? What does the future hold for the VP of Hey I've Seen That Guy In Another Commercial? Don't forget, if you manage to guess the boss correctly before it's leaked or revealed, you could win a $20 PSN card. More from the Game Revolution Network Comments

According to Lambert, Sony has phased out the Kevin Butler and Marcus Rivers campaigns. There's no reason they'd keep him "alive" on Twitter if they're not going to use him for marketing.
