LATEST FEATURES Being A Console Is Actually Xbox One's Worst Asset
Microsoft's newest console has lots of different features, but video games might hold the device back from the software giant's true intentions.

Kid Icarus Coming To eShop Near You

Posted on Monday, January 30 @ 13:43:55 Eastern by Keri_Honea

Hooray, the Nintendo 3DS eShop is getting more of what everyone wants! No silly, it's not a new IP! It's another NES Classic, Kid Icarus!

Kid Icarus has been free since the start of the year to anyone (in Europe) who (recently) registered two 3DS games published by Nintendo. And if you preorder Kid Icarus: Uprising, you'll receive a code to download the classic game for free. But as of this Thursday, anyone can snag Icarus' first adventure.

Price point hasn't been officially announced anywhere other than in GBP, but if we take the prices of what other classic NES games have gone for in the eShop, then $3.99 could be a safe assumption.

Kid Icarus originally released for the NES in July 1987. Be thankful that this 3DS version is a bit updated.

I never played the game and I'm not really excited for the upcoming 3ds game. What is special about these games?

I like them personally because I like Pit, shooting eggplants with a bow and arrow and... uh... the game's... pretty?
