Kinect Star Wars Demo Now Available On Xbox Live

Posted on Monday, May 7 @ 08:58:53 Eastern by Alex_Osborn

If you've got a Kinect and have nothing better to do (emphasis added on the whole "nothing better to do" bit), you may want to check out the Kinect Star Wars demo, which has just launched on the Xbox Live Marketplace.

The game is already out in stores, but before you go ahead and drop a hefty chunk of change on the gimmick-laden game, we suggest you give the experience a quick test drive, even if you truly are a hardcore Star Wars fan. Note: Those without a Kinect need not apply, as this one is a Kinect-only experience... for better or worse. Mostly for worse.

Cynicism aside, you've got to applaud Terminal Reality for at least trying. I hear the podracing isn't completely unbearable. However, I can't say the same for the whole dancing for Jabba the Hutt minigame. Seriously, what were they thinking?
