Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix Dated For Japan

The long awaited HD re-release of Kingdom Hearts is finally nearing its launch... in Japan. Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix will hit Japanese store shelves on March 14th exclusively for the PlayStation 3.

The high-def package includes the original Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories, and the cutscenes from Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. 

There's still no official confirmation from Square whether or not we'll be seeing this HD collection outside of Japan, but considering the series' popularity in North America and Europe, I can't imagine why they wouldn't bring it to other territories. Here's to hoping that we get an HD re-release of Kingdom Hearts II as well.

    I'm still waiting for FFX HD.

    But yeah, a full-fledged remake of FFVII would be ideal.

    I stopped caring about Kingdom Hearts after the second game. They abused the series like Square does with all the others they have. The series needs a serious reboot.

    I agree. Nothing beats the original KH. I'm really hoping that KH3 will be a return to form... if it ever comes out.

    I couldn't even finish Birth by Sleep and even after forcing myself to try and like Dream Drop Distance, I can't even muster up the interest to rent it. The only game in the series I haven't played, and willing to try, is Chain of Memories for GBA.

    I like all the KH games, and had a blast playing them. My favorite is KH2, but i can not get excited for this one, even if it hits the US. I think its crap that they are not including KH2 in there.
