Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix Confirmed For Western Release

Posted on Monday, February 25 @ 07:10:28 Eastern by Alex_Osborn

In the past, I've made it quite well known that I'm not a big fan of HD collections. If I've already played the game to death some 5+ years ago, why should I feel compelled to revisit it when there are so many incredible new titles I still don't even have time for? However, there is always one exception to the rule, and in my case, that is Kingdom Hearts.

Much to my delight (and hopefully yours as well), Square Enix has just announced that Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix will be coming to North America this fall, exclusively for the PlayStation 3. We've known the game was coming to Japan for quite some time, and assumed that it would be coming to the West eventually, it's just nice to get some actual confirmation.

This high definition compilation includes the original Kingdom HeartsKingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories, and the cutscenes of Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. The entire package has received a number of enhancements, both on the visual and gameplay end.

Will you be picking up this enchanting HD collection when it launches later this year? Let us know in the comments below.
