Kingdom Hearts HD Collection 80 to 90 Percent Finished

Are you excited at the prospect of playing Kingdom Hearts in high definition? Cool, me too! While the release of the recently announced Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix is still up in the air for the west, the high-def translation is nearly complete for Japan.

According to Famitsu (via GematsuKingdom Hearts series co-director Tai Yasue has confirmed that the game is currently 80 to 90 percent complete.

Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix is set for release exclusively for the PS3 in Japan sometime next year. Stay tuned to GameRevolution for future updates on if/when the collection will see a release stateside.

    Aren't they working on a new one yet? Give Japan the remix and break out number 3 final fantasy needs a break. Give me KH for Christmas

    I would be happier with the third one. But a remake of 1 would be pretty rad, the original is just old enough that the graphics are terrible, but new enough that it isn't adorable like playing an n64 game. The result is a headache.
