Kojima on Next-Gen Consoles: "PS4 Is the Best"

Posted on Thursday, February 13 @ 06:35:41 Eastern by Alex_Osborn

Hideo Kojima, the creator of Metal Gear Solid, recently shared his thoughts on Sony and Microsoft's latest hardware, showing praise over PlayStation 4's technical superiority.

"I think, between the home consoles available in the domestic market, the PS4 is the best," he told Famitsu (via DS). "It’s also excellent for graphics, being able to render 1080p at 60fps with room to spare. Since it does it a little better than other hardware, the image quality of the PS4 is the most beautiful. It’s the closest to the photorealistic quality we are aiming at."

Kojima's upcoming game Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes launches next month on PlayStation 4, PS3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360. Something tells me the platform of choice will be PS4.
