Kojima, Platinum Devs Tell the Truth Behind Metal Gear Rising's Rebirth

So Metal Gear Solid Rising went dark and then last weekend, during the Video Game Awards, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance reemerged, complete with a new development team and a tweaked direction. It can be difficult to accept the loss of what we'd previously seen, but when you bury that pill in sweet Platinum Games flavored ice cream, it's hard to notice.
So why don't we go straight to the people in charge and ask them about the true story behind Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. We might even find out what's with that crazy name.
Wow even a Production Video from these guys has needles cut sceens that make it drag on. I'm not sure about the whole Metal Gear Rising deal and if its going to be good. But I know I'll buy it for those two little words: METAL GEAR. Good to hear that Kojima is making MGS5 though.
After seeing this I watched both the old and new trailers. Although I'm excited for this game, I feel the first iteration of it showed more drama, more emotion, more heart, whereas this one is pure muscle and over-the-top action. I hope the final product is a nice blend of the two.
I don't know if they can accomplish that, which may be why Hideo stopped half way through. If you were to make a sword focused stealth game I think of games like Tenchi, with substituted ninja tools for more high tech Metal Gear esque tools. But to try to do this in the future in which all enemies have long range weapons (guns), becomes kind of silly and has to be sped up to the pace of the likes of Ninja Gaiden but that isn't metal gear. How do you balance pace/stealth/and a focus on close range weaponry?
I, too, don't think you can't balance that out, so this MG will be a bloodfest, but I do hope the story is as deep as the one hinted in the first trailer.
