Grid 2 surprised me. I was going through the motions, getting used to the cars and their handling, when suddenly something happened. I started having fun.

State of Decay Review
Undead Lab's zombie-infested action title has finally hit XBLA. Is it worth a few of your precious Microsoft Points, or should you whack it over the head with a two-by-four and continue on your merry way?

E3: PC or rather about the lack of it

E3 2013 has been very silent for me. There's tons of media, but most of it buzzes past my ears without them catching the important keyword that my ears are fine tuned to receive: "PC" or "Personal Computer". Microsoft, Sony, EA and Ubisoft have all shown their cards...

Latest Persona 4: Arena Teases Story Mode

Posted on Wednesday, July 18 @ 11:20:44 Eastern by

The latest Persona 4: Arena trailer takes a peek at the game's lengthy story mode. Apparently the ol' gang is going to get back together, only to fight it out! I'm wondering how much of the estimated 30 hours of story mode will be cutscenes and how many times you'll repeat fights.

Is story mode just playing through the story with each character or is it more involved like Mortal Kombat's excellent story mode?

Either way, I can't wait for P4: Arena to drop on Xbox 360 and PS3 from Atlus and Arc System Works August 7th, 2012. Don't forget to preorder for the customary soundtrack CD.

I'm really looking forward to this. Definitely going to pick one of the characters from P3.

I can't decide who to main.... This is probably the first fighting game I'm going to get REALLY in depth with.

I'm feeling a great deal of ambivalence about this game. Persona 4 is EASILY one of my favourite games of all time. But I can't even fathom how a fighting game is going to do it justice... I mean, you want to make a bunch of the characters fight? Sure, I can suspend plot cohesion and just let it be. But a fighting game that is going to try to do story? I'm just not sure how they could do it well, and remain true to P4. I don't want them to bastardize the world and just ruin what they already had.

I've looked very little into it though, so hopefully I just don't know what I'm talking about, and it'll be amazing.

Hopefully. I'm waiting to see if they have a good reason to bring Aigis, Akihiko, Mitsuru and Elizabeth into this, story-wise.
