GAMING NEWSLeaked Image Shows Resident Evil 6 LogoPosted on Monday, July 25 @ 08:26:26 Eastern by Anthony Severino
![]() Although ComicCon is now over, the nerd-laced dust isn't yet settled. A leaked image that is said to be from a closed-door Comic-Con panel with Capcom shows a picture of a slideshow panel showing a logo for Resident Evil 6. The leaked image also shows a date, September 15, 2011. That date just so happens to be the first day of Tokyo Game Show, which would be a very likely venue for such a reveal. There's been a lot of outrage over Capcom's actions as of late. But if a proper Resident Evil 6 is released that redefines the series, could all be forgiven? Probably not. But I'd love to get my hands on a real Resident Evil 6 (not this Operation: Raccoon City spin-off). [Source] More from the Game Revolution Network Comments

I'm no expert but I'm willing to suspect they're getting far too fancy with the story. Mutated Africans? Ehhhhh good concept, but not the Resident Evil I know and love.
Remember your roots, remember what people loved, keep it simple....4. Itchy. Tasty.

But I wholeheartedly agree with you. I want ****ing zombies, not Los Gonads or whatever they're called. Bring back the creepy mansion atmosphere. And drop Wesker, that **** is old now.

Creepy mansions, hospitals, forests and churches all good. One of the many things Left4Dead did right...It's like comparing pears to Asian pears I realize, however as lightly involved as L4D was as far as the story goes, they still had a sense of creepy, surprising and overall fun within the game.
As mundane as it was, one of my favourite RE puzzles were the various keys located in the police station to unlock new doors to areas to expand the storyin RE2...I'm feeling the story has really gotten away from us since the release of the films. Its as if the game is trying to loosely tailor itself for Hollywood.
If The Walking Dead has shown us anything, people want zombies, brain-less, mindless, zombies and the struggle for survival.
