Listen To This Kid Explain The Wii U To Michelle Obama

You wouldn't know that kids actually want the Wii U, if you walked into my local Gamestop tonight. A sign outside read flatly that the Wii U was in stock and a regular, white version of the console sat lonely behind the counter. I didn't ask my regular Game Adviser about it because he's usually much more excited to talk to me about other gaming stuff, but I wondered if anyone really wanted a Wii U for Christmas or even if Santa would have a stockpile left over.

You wouldn't think that based on this video alone. Of course, the first lady is a little behind the times. I think she's been more occupied with raising a family and a whole bunch of political bullshit to care about Nintendo's new console, but two children at a White House event set her straight.

"That sounds cool... Didn't know anything about that!" she exclaims. Well, now you know, Michelle. And knowing is half the battle!

    Yea I went to Target yesterday and they had 2 of the Wii U Basic models in stock. For $50 more the Deluxe just offers too much more to pass up on...

    I've seen so many snide comments on this around the gamer-sphere, and it is so utterly absurd. What's the big deal about the First Lady not knowing about a game console? She has much more important business to focus on.
