Live-Action Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon Movie Starts The Cyber War

Posted on Tuesday, April 16 @ 16:09:47 Eastern by

If you've ever wondered what it would be like to save the world from kill cyborgs, you're about to get your chance. Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon twists the 80s and 90s lens on the future and brings into focus one awesome looking piece of downloadable content.

Perhaps even better, CorridorDigital got the go ahead to make this spectacular Blood Dragon production, which begs the question "why doesn't Ubisoft hire a bunch of Youtube film makers to develop movies for them?" Remember when the base Far Cry 3 game got the same treatment? While cyborgs might not be as enticing as a damsel in distress, I prefer the extensive use of neon and special effects here.

Remember, Blood Dragon is a standalone package and doesn't require Far Cry 3 to play. We'll have more as it nears release and don't forget to check out Nick's recent hands-on preview.
