Live-Action Final Fantasy VII Web Series Seeks Funding On Kickstarter

Posted on Tuesday, July 23 @ 06:00:00 Eastern by Alex_Osborn

Final Fantasy VII is undoubtedly one of the most iconic role-playing games of all time. The memorable cast of characters and engrossing story are but two of the many reasons this title has a special place in the hearts of so many gamers.

As such, a group of 250 filmmakers have taken to Kickstarter in search for funding for a live-action web series that tells the story of Final Fantasy VII. Be sure to check out the proof of concept trailer above if you haven't done so already. It's quite impressive.

For all the details on this film project, be sure to check out the Kickstarter page. Currently, $3,000 has been raised toward their $400,000 goal with 29 days left.

Do you think a live-action film like this should get made? What do you think of the proof of concept? Let us know in the comments below.
