Look At Mass Effect 3! Look At It!

Posted on Thursday, June 16 @ 01:36:19 Eastern by

If you've already read Nick's E3 Impressions on Mass Effect 3, you were probably left wanting. Words are great, but I mean... you know. They're not about to start giving your brain colors and shapes and stuff like that.

Yeah, you know what, screw words! Let's look at images instead! Here are the screenshots Bioware and EA made sure to leave us with before leaving Mass Effect 3's closed-door presentation:

soooo disappointed this game was pushed back to next year. the original release date of november would have been perfect, and even though there are a ton of other games i want to get later this year (battlefield 3, modern warfare 3, uncharted 3, arkham city, and the metal gear solid collection which happens to be my favourite game series of all time and it includes my fave game of all time mgs2) im looking forward to mass effect 3 the most. it's gonna be epic

Yeah honestly though, Mass Effect 2 did well because it had no competition. EA and Bioware need that all over again.

as far as sales go, yes, me2 didnt have any competition. but even though it was a good year and mass effect 2 was released in january i still picked it as my favourite game for the year, and its actually stayed that way, it's still my fave game on the 360.

Let's not forget Skyrim as well. ME3's original release date was like three or four days before (or after, I forget which it was) Skyrim's.

    Look at that last picture....

...Please tell me Shepherd doesn't have a chin strap beard going on.

And I've stopped looking forward to games based off of screenshots. Rarely do they look as good as a SS suggests...Especially in the case of ME.

good point, i dont even go by hd videos. the game always looks a lot better on the actual console and you cant really gauge just how a game feels until you're playing it

No that's not a chin strap beard. Don't worry, your vanilla Shepherd is still OK. Of course maybe there's some facial hair options for character customization.

Is there any word on how mineral gathering goes in 3? In 2 I felt it was way too much... it got very old fast.

I knew I wasn't the only one thinking about that! Since there is an all-out galactic war going on in ME3, I don't know how much time Shepherd and crew will have to mine random planets. Bioware certainly wasn't showing off their mining gameplay at E3.

It does look pretty gorgeous though. I'm pretty stoked.
