Look at Ninja Gaiden 3's Collector's Edition Before It Slices Your Hand Off

Posted on Thursday, January 12 @ 15:04:06 Eastern by

We already knew that those of you Ninja enough to pick up the Collector's Edition of Ninja Gaiden 3 would be getting an expanded Dead or Alive 5 demo, but we weren't sure what else was coming in the set or what it even looked like.

Well there it is. Use your eyeballs and just look at it! See? Oooohhh.

Ninja Gaiden 3's Collector's Edition comes complete with Duel of the Masked figures, soundtrack CD, art book, and Dead or Alive 5 demo.... Also the game and a fancy box. Preordering at Gamestop means you'll get Ryu and Hitomi in the DoA 5 demo while Ayane and Hayate will be going to Amazon pre-order customers.

Those of you who shoot yourselves in the face over the prospect of EXCLUSIVE... PREORDER... CHARACTERS... FOR... A... FUCKING... DEMO... make sure you splatter your brains with me into the comment box below.

Seriously, what the **** is that ****? Preordering a goddam game doesn't get you every character for the ****ing demo? Are you kidding? How are they doing this? I mean, sure, it's not the game you're really buying, but how ****ingstupidlyoutrageously****ingidioticohmy****inggodwhatthe**** stupid is that? I can't believe it. I wasn't in the market for a Collector's Edition of Ninja Gaiden 3, but I'm definitely not now.

if you wouldnt buy a game because of the content of a demo you get well, you need to rethink your priorities.

If I recall, the Collector's Edition of Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 had the game, an art book, a comic, a soundtrack, and a mini strategy guide, all for an extra $10. Tecmo has REALLY dropped the ball in a short span of time.

It's not a matter of need. It's about how ridiculous it is to chop up a demo so people have to preorder at a specific retailer. It's the absurdity that's in question.
