Lost Planet 3 Launching This June, Official Box Art Inside

Posted on Wednesday, March 6 @ 08:46:01 Eastern by Alex_Osborn
Lost Planet 3 will launch on June 25th for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. The title was initially targeted for early this year, but you know what they say: better late than never, right? Let's hope so, as Spark Unlimited, the team at the helm, doesn't have the best track record.

In addition to the release date, the publisher let loose a bunch of screenshots as well as the game's official box art. Check out the latter below.

Be sure to give the game's latest screenshots a view in our gallery here, and comment below, letting us know what you think of the game's box art. Can't say I'm a huge fan.

Not to say anything bad about the game before it comes out but Spark Unlimited developed this game. They are behind such classics as Legendary, and Turning Point Fall of Liberty. This is going to be bad....

I don't know, I mean what gameplay they've shown seems to be pretty good. The cutscenes are done very well. Granted it's more story driven, which is a departure from previous LP titles. I think I may pick this one up, I love the LP franchise, and this game looks to be Spark's best game to date (I know that's not saying much lol)

While I liked LP1 and 2 it makes me sad to see that this "less tan ok" series is getting its third game, while Darksiders 3 won't ever see the light of day. D2 is an amazing game (haven't beat it, still playing).

D2 is an absolutely amazing game, definitely agree! I do hope someone sees the potential in this franchise and picks it up. But LP is a pretty good franchise as well

    Is that Bill Paxton!

Also, the first Lost Planet was pretty good. The second was terrible, and I have played all of Sparks *cough* amazing previous works. These guys just don't know how games are played, don't play test them, and certainly don't even FINISH THEM!

This box art bothers me. I feel like my personal space is being invaded. By a guy who looks like he's got a "load" of "snow" on his face, no less.
