Lucario Confirmed as Latest Addition to Smash Bros. Roster

Posted on Friday, January 31 @ 04:38:56 Eastern by Alex_Osborn

Super Smash Bros. creator Masahiro Sakurai has revealed that the Pokémon Lucario will be joining the fight in the upcoming 3DS and Wii U entires of his popular fighting game series.

This now brings the total number of confirmed characters to 22, and seeing as how fighters like Yoshi and Captain Falcon still have yet to be announced, it's safe to say the roster will end up being quite large.

Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS are set to launch later this year. Here's to hoping sooner in 2014 rather than later, though a holiday release seems like the safest bet.
