Lumines: Electronic Symphony Will Be Vita Launch Title

Posted on Tuesday, December 13 @ 09:08:53 Eastern by

When the PlayStation Portable launched, there was one title that stood out from the rest. Even years later, the original Lumines is considered by many as the best game to ever be released on the PSP.

History is repeating itself with the PlayStation Vita, as Lumines: Electronic Symphony has been confirmed to be a launch title. Q Entertainment producer James Mielke broke the news on Twitter:

Off to the airport, back to Japan. LUMINES Electronic Symphony for PS VITA streets on February 22, 2012. Get your wishlist on.

If you listened to the latest episode of GameRevolution Radio, you'd know that Nick and I were discussing just this, and saying that Lumines as a Vita launch title is a must-own. Hearing that it will in fact be a launch title is music to our ears, literally.

Lumines: Electronic Symphony should hold us over nicely until Sound Shapes comes out later in 2012.
