Madden NFL 12 And EA Sports Declare NY Giants Superbowl XLVI Champs

Posted on Monday, January 30 @ 11:26:11 Eastern by

Football is serious business! Especially when you... put some money down... on the big game. I honestly don't care about football. I don't really care about sports in general.

Regardless, I think I put money on the right team. The official simulation of the Superbowl, Madden NFL 12, has declared the New York Giants by one field goal. I have to be absolutely honest with you. That's the worst way to win a game. When I'm playing a super ninja, do I stop at knocking out the enemy? No! I CUT THEM TO DEATH! I'm just sore because the outcome in Madden NFL isn't in line with the point spread I selected.

Yup. No repeats of '07. If Ochostinko sits out of this one too, I'll be ok with it.

I don't even care who wins. I'm not a football fan. My sport? Belegarth! Foam fighting. Not to be confused with its cousin LARPing.

Think like paintball, only medieval. Instead of modern body gear, you wear medieval (or fantasy, if you like) garb and armor. Instead of paintball guns, you have foam swords, shields, axes, spears, even archery. Fast-paced, hard hitting (they may be padded, but those weapons still hurt), and variable for all kinds of game types. Free for all, team battles, CTF, you name it.
