Male Wii Fit Trainer Pops Up In Super Smash Bros.

Posted on Thursday, October 31 @ 06:25:39 Eastern by Alex_Osborn

It looks like the female Wii Fit trainer won't be the only exercise junkie in Nintendo's upcoming Super Smash Bros. title for Wii U and 3DS, as her male counterpart as been spotted in a new screenshot.

Masahiro Sakurai, the producer of Nintendo's super popular brawling series posted the image you see above on Miiverse, along with the following description: "Pic of the day. The trial version of Wii Fit U is available now! We'd like to share this pic to commemorate the occasion."

This doesn't necessarily confirm that the male Wii Fit trainer is a new playable character on his own, as this could merely be an alternate skin for the female version or some sort of "Super Smash" ability. That said, would you like to see Nintendo officially add him to the roster for good measure? Let us know in the comments below.
