Mario Kart 7 Gets 3DS Wheel Attachment

Posted on Tuesday, October 25 @ 11:52:08 Eastern by

There are so many ways to play Nintendo games anymore. Even the diminuitive 3DS has two separate directional inputs, motion control, and a touch screen. The one thing it doesn't have?

Gigantic plastic pieces of shit that no one ever wanted on it in the first place.

Let's be clear: Nintendo isn't manufacturing this monstrous steering wheel peripheral. Hori is. Before you start writing angry letters or comments, make that distinction.

The Hori Mario Kart 7 steering wheel will carry the official Nintendo seal and run Japanese gamers ¥1,280. The peripheral snaps onto the back of the handheld to give you greater handle on your expensive electronic device when whipping it around back and forth.

This is so fucking stupid.

Wait, does MK 7 even HAVE gyroscope controls? It must.

And I'm glad HORI is making it and not Nintendo. Because that does take the sting off them.

I'm still confused by why they're adding a second slide pad as an accessory and didn't just build one IN.
