LATEST FEATURES Being A Console Is Actually Xbox One's Worst Asset
Microsoft's newest console has lots of different features, but video games might hold the device back from the software giant's true intentions.

Mass Effect 3 Datapad iOS App Is Out

Posted on Tuesday, March 13 @ 09:14:52 Eastern by Keri_Honea

Here's the Mass Effect iOS app I've been looking forward to the most: the Mass Effect 3 Datapad app. Extra bonus, unlike Mass Effect: Infiltrator, the Datapad app is absolutely free.

The Datapad offers a variety of features for hardcore Mass Effect fans (like me!), such as a Codex section and mail updates with personal messages to your unique Shepard from characters you meet in ME3. You can also play another Galaxy at War game to help boost your Galactic Readiness rating by deploying fleets on different timed missions. So, if multiplayer and Infiltrator aren't your bag, baby, maybe this will appease you. Of course, this is only possible if you connect the Datapad to your Origin account.

Again, it's free, and it's a very easy way to boost your Readiness rating—which is one factor that decides the  outcome of your final choice in Mass Effect 3. Just saying.

I got all excited when I started playing this and it gave me credits. Wow, it can add credits to my singleplayer games!? Maybe MULTIPLAYER!?!?! Turns out it doesn't do either. The credits are for upgrades to this iOS game.
