Medal of Honor: Warfighter Trailer Introduces Fireteam Multiplayer

Posted on Tuesday, July 10 @ 12:34:30 Eastern by

At E3, I had a pretty successful run at Medal of Honor: Warfighter's multiplayer. I'm actually really intrigued by the distinction being made between Warfighter and other military multiplayer shooters.

Warfighter features a buddy system that links you and another player at all times through a visible outline on your hub and several key abilities. Killing your buddy's killer will give them an instant respawn. You can get ammo and health from your buddy, as if he were a mobile supply point.

It's certainly a different take on the way you interact with your team in a deathmatch or objective game type. Having the Frostbite 2.0 engine to play around in certainly helps too. Medal of Honor: Warfighter will land on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC this October 23rd.

Hmmm I'm skeptical. Even though it looks good, the last MoH had some pretty big hype with little substance to follow it up. It seems that EA is just shooting its money into all sortsa stuff to try and topple CoD. I mean, they already have BF3, and that sucker is a juggernaut. Seems kinda redundant to me. I hope its good, f*** CoD. Lol.
