REVIEWS GRiD 2 Review
Grid 2 surprised me. I was going through the motions, getting used to the cars and their handling, when suddenly something happened. I started having fun.

State of Decay Review
Undead Lab's zombie-infested action title has finally hit XBLA. Is it worth a few of your precious Microsoft Points, or should you whack it over the head with a two-by-four and continue on your merry way?

E3: PC or rather about the lack of it

E3 2013 has been very silent for me. There's tons of media, but most of it buzzes past my ears without them catching the important keyword that my ears are fine tuned to receive: "PC" or "Personal Computer". Microsoft, Sony, EA and Ubisoft have all shown their cards...

Meet Bill In The Latest Trailer For The Last of Us

Posted on Monday, July 16 @ 09:59:46 Eastern by Alex_Osborn

While this latest trailer for The Last of Us highlights a brand-new character, the smart-mouthed firecracker of a child that is Ellie steals the show... yet again. It's amazing how Naughty Dog has managed to perfectly convey the engrossing relationship between her and Joel in just under three minutes of video time, not to mention the fact that they manage to introduce a completely new character in that time span as well.

Bill, who is clearly an old friend of Joel's, appears to be in the protagonist's debut for something that happened in the past. If an effort to wipe his slate clean, he reluctantly agrees to help Joel put together a car, but not until after he handcuffs Ellie to a pole and checks Joel at gunpoint for any sign of infection. The "trust no one" sentiment is beautifully illustrated in this moment and comes to a climax when Ellie breaks free and proceeds to beat the man with the pole.

That Ellie is one tough cookie, and she's got some pretty amusing one-liners to boot. Ah, this game can't come soon enough.

It's not very often that I regret only having a PC, but this is definitely one of them.

The might be my most anticipated title of this entire console generation. I think it's actually beating out Metal Gear Solid 4 for me.

Suck it Ebert... really? Now I'm playing a bit of devil's advocate here because I do think the guy is wrong when he says that games can't be art but this game is not a good example at least not based off of this trailer. Games that try to emulate another art form, in this case movies, are not a good example of how games can be art in their own right, its only through defining a unique form of story telling that we will ever convince people that games are art, Not through an alright pre-rendered cinematic and a "suck it ebert."
