Mercerary Ops Announced, Screenshots And Game Modes Revealed

Formerly known as Epic Games China, Ying Pei Games will be releasing Mercenary Ops, a multiplayer third-person shooter PC title that uses Unreal Engine 3.

The game will feature six modes, three co-op and three competitive. As with any traditional multiplayer shooter, it will have Team Deathmatch (8 vs. 8), Demolition (attack or defend a bomb site), and Elimination. Cooperatively, players can join forces in Assault (objective-based missions up to 5 players), Survival, and Invasion (a Horde mode with a time limit). The six screenshots below showcase each mode respectively.

Players can customize their loadout with an extensive selection of weapons and equipment, and must adapt to changing weather conditions such as blizzard and sandstorms. Several modes like Invasion will have players earn in-game currency which they can use to purchase various upgrades during the course of a match.

Mercenary Ops plans to release some time this Summer.
