Grid 2 surprised me. I was going through the motions, getting used to the cars and their handling, when suddenly something happened. I started having fun.

State of Decay Review
Undead Lab's zombie-infested action title has finally hit XBLA. Is it worth a few of your precious Microsoft Points, or should you whack it over the head with a two-by-four and continue on your merry way?

E3: PC or rather about the lack of it

E3 2013 has been very silent for me. There's tons of media, but most of it buzzes past my ears without them catching the important keyword that my ears are fine tuned to receive: "PC" or "Personal Computer". Microsoft, Sony, EA and Ubisoft have all shown their cards...

Metal Gear Rising Collector's Edition Gets A Plasma Lamp

Posted on Friday, September 28 @ 10:53:32 Eastern by

I'm sure you've entered those geeky science stores before and touched one of those electric lightning bolt lamps. So just to make them even more geeky, the Collector's Edition for Metal Gear Rising Revengeance will come with one that has Raiden's sword straight down the center. It's the kind of prop I imagine many cats will enjoy by knocking it over.

Announced along with the Zone of the Enders HD Collection Collector's Edition (what a mouthful) at Konami Gamers Night, this special edition for MGRR will add the soundtrack as well and come in a special package. Available on the same release date of the regular version on February 19, this Collector's Edition has not been given a price yet, but I suspect that it will at least be more than $100 (probably more like $150).

I mean, it's so flashy and borderline stupid that you know you want it. Actually, that's how I feel about most things from Platinum Games... huh.

The game alone is flashy-and-borderline-stupid enough for me. Getting a full-sized replica of the sword, now that would be another thing...
