    I believe it has something to do with the code not working with the new systems. I recall reading somewhere that some PSone classics will never be coming to the PS3 and PSP because they just won't work.

    oh my god, will everyone please stop asking for the first game? it's on the playstation network already! it has been for a long time! and if you dont have a ps3, i take it you're not a big fan of the series because most of us bought a ps3 just for mgs4

    a remake wouldnt happen because that's missing the point of a remasters collection, and remastering a psx game would be extremely pointless. i'd be dissapointed if mgs1 was in the collection, i've already got two copies of the original and i have twin snakes, and i take it a lot of people would

    I always thought The Cardboard Box would have been a much better name for a compilation of Metal Gear games.

    Well, I mean, this isn't necessarily a terrible deal. How much more is the Collectors edition? If it's like, 10 bucks more, you might be able to justify 10 bucks for a limited edition 248 page book. That's not, in and of itself, a terrible purchase is it? I mean, if it was say, 40 bucks more, than **** that. But yeah, how much more is it than the regular version?

    being a collector of all things metal gear (except for acid) i would be extatic to get an art book that big, the art in the MGS series has always been amazing and i would love to have it
