Metal Gear Solid Tease Revealed, Is Super Lame

Posted on Monday, November 7 @ 07:45:09 Eastern by

Last week, a countdown timer appeared on the official Japanese website for Metal Gear Solid HD Collection... and you know what happens when countdown timers appear, right? People start speculating, letting their jovial imaginations run wild like Hulkamania in the 80s. Which is usually okay. But in this case, it's embarrassing.

A lot of hoopla for nothing, really. The coundown ended, revealing a commercial in which a Japanese idol named Kojiharu from group AKB48 "infiltrates" Kojima Productions, and alters the name so it reads "Kojiharu Productions".

See. That was totally worth counting down to.

Don't give up on Kojima just yet, there's still that supposed magazine reveal - we'll know more about that later this month.

Well, if you look at the MGS games, you shouldn't be suprised that Kojima would be super excited to share his love of Japanese idols.
