Microsoft Announces Fable Legends For Xbox One

Microsoft has just revealed at gamescom a new Xbox One title from the team at Lionhead Studios. It's called Fable Legends and it's one heck of an ambitious game.

The game is built around four-player co-op, where you and three of your buddies play as different heroes of Albion. As you might expect, each hero has its own set of particular skills—archers, barbarians, spellcasters, etc.

What makes this game so unique and interesting is that there is another player. Yep, a fifth person who plays as the villain, viewing the map from a top-down perspective with the single mission of making the other players' lives a living hell. He/she can place traps, set up ambushes, and more in an effort to thwart the four heroes.

No word on when the game will launch, but it sure sounds awfully ambitious, so expect to do a bit of waiting. In the meantime, let us know what you think about this new concept for Fable in the comments below.
