Microsoft Announces New Xbox 360 Racing Bundle

Posted on Tuesday, May 29 @ 13:30:08 Eastern by Alex_Osborn

If you're a racing fan and for some miraculous reason don't already own an Xbox 360 or Forza Motorsport 4, oh man does Microsoft have the deal of a lifetime for you. The old Halo: Reach and Fable III bundle has been done away with in favor of a racing-centric package that includes Forza 4, a wireless wheel and a 250GB console all for just $300.

Both the wheel and the game still aren't all that cheap, so investing in this bundle will definitely save you a decent chunk of change, especially if you were looking to purchase the two anyway.

Microsoft is expected to show Forza Horizon at E3 next week, so there's a good chance this new bundle is part of their strategy in stirring up excitement for their fresh take on the franchise.

There may even be a chance that Microsoft will have the bundle on display on their show floor at E3. Definitely thinking about getting a driving wheel.

I had the wireless wheel, and immediately broke it. Before the plastic piece of **** shattered, I noticed there is very poor force feedback in the wheel.

I know that they're pricier, but go with the fanatec wheel, pretty much any one of them will do, you get the bonus of a functioning clutch pedal, and either paddle shifters, or a traditional stick shift, plus that **** is durable as hell.
