Microsoft Announces Xbox Music, Coming to Windows 8, Tablets, Phones and 360

Posted on Monday, June 4 @ 10:10:15 Eastern by Sebastian_Moss

During Microsoft's E3 press conference, which is ongoing as we speak, the company has announced its very own iTunes and Music Unlimited competitor "Xbox Music".

With "Xbox Music", you'll be able to listen to "over 30 million songs" on your Xbox, as well as Windows 8 computer, tablets, and phones. What exactly it offers over competitors remains to be seen, but it will presumably allow you to stream the music in the background while you play games.
