Microsoft Appears To Be Hiring Former OnLive Employees

Posted on Monday, August 27 @ 12:00:00 Eastern by Keri_Honea

With all of the closures and layoff announcements we have seen as of late, it's rather heartwarming to hear of another big company seeking to hire the recently unemployed. In this case, it's Microsoft, and they want to reach out to the former employees of OnLive. They are even using EventBrite to call attention to their recruitment efforts.

From their EventBrite announcement, they state, "We are eager to speak to individuals and teams affected by the OnLive transition. With the stunning success of Xbox/Kinect and the accelerated growth of this business, we are looking to add key players who want to make a real impact in creating groundbreaking new products and services."

Microsoft was rumored to be interested in buying OnLive in 2010, but obviously nothing ever came from it or the rumor was completely false. Either way, they apparently don't want to let good employees get away.

It's always nice to see one company helping one another. What if their doing just to get publicity?
