Microsoft Perma-Banning Halo 4 Pirates

Posted on Monday, October 15 @ 08:11:11 PST by Alex_Osborn
The ban hammer has fallen. As we reported last week,Halo 4has been leaked ahead of its November 6th release date and the game has been spreading like wildfire thanks to pirates. As such, Microsoft is taking swift and immediate action, permanently banning gamers for "prerelease title play".

This news comes fromReddit(viaEurogamer), where users have been lamenting the fact that they've taken a pirated version of Halo 4online. We've included a copy of the perma-ban notification below in the hopes of scaring away anyone who may have been considering the pirate route. Just don't do it.

Please guys, don't pirateHalo 4. The members of 343 Industries have slaved away on this game for years only to have it stolen and ruined before release. We've only got three more weeks to wait. Stay patient.
