Microsoft "Really, Really Sorry" Xbox One UI Hasn't Been Demoed, "Not Sure When It's Going To Happen"

Posted on Tuesday, September 24 @ 05:00:00 Eastern by Alex_Osborn

Despite the fact that we're just a couple of months away from the release of Xbox One, we still have yet to see a proper demonstration of the console's UI.

Senior Director of Product Management, Albert Penello, apologized for this very fact on NeoGAF. "I'm really, really sorry about this. We've booked to do it a couple times, and my schedule hasn't allowed it. I wanted to get this demo out publicly sooner," he explained. "I'm not sure when it's going to happen."

Is there reason to be concerned? Might Microsoft be stalling because the dashboard still is not complete yet? Maybe I'm a little paranoid. Maybe I'm overreacting. Let's just hope the software is ready to go on launch day.
