Minority Report Helmer Rewriting Assassin's Creed Film

Posted on Friday, August 16 @ 07:36:47 Eastern by Alex_Osborn

Scott Frank, the oscar-nominated writer behind The Wolverine, Minority Report, and Out of Sight, has been picked up by Fox to rewrite the script of Assassin's Creed: The Movie.

Scott confirmed the news to Creative Screenwriting Magazine, telling the outlet, "I’m rewriting Assassin’s Creed right now, and what I love about it is that I’ve never adapted a video game before and it has its own set of challenges. Especially in the world of rewrites, I love trying to do something completely different if I can."

The movie is scheduled to release in 2015 on June 19th, and is said to star Michael Fassbender. Are you eager to see the Assassin's Creed franchise come to the big screen? Which time period should the movie take place in? Let us know in the comments below.
