Mists Of Pandaria Mounts Are Everything But A Horse

Posted on Wednesday, August 29 @ 13:00:00 Eastern by sara_gunn

Are you afraid there aren't enough mounts in your obscenely overcrowded stable? Well, now you're going to have more, as Blizzard has announced the mounts for Mists of Pandaria:

One of the most exhilarating aspects of World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria is the number and variety of new mounts that will be hitting the skyways and byways of Azeroth. Dozens of new beasts of burden (and mountable devices) are coming to the game. From Cloud Serpents to Water Striders to Flying Discs, mount collectors and mount lovers will get to pursue and ride off into the sunset on top of a plethora of unique rides.

Because your steampunk motorcycle and seventeen different dragons aren't absurd enough, you can now add a super cute yak, some kind of abstract cloud-disk thingy, and a friggin' constellation to your collection. I, for one, can't wait to float through the night on giant balls of gas.

Of course, there are more traditional mounts, too, in the forms of giant cats and Chinese-style dragons. Regardless of your personal level of eccentricity, you'll find plenty to expand your already impressive hoard of servile beasts.

Blizzard will update the character models sometimes this winter or next spring. They got the dwarf model done as we speak but they would rather wait till all the old race models (I.E not the worgen or goblin) are tweaked before they'll release any new models.
The reason why they want to rework on the model, the monk class animation doesn't seem to move smoothly enough.

That constellation mount looks pretty sick. Ridiculous, but sick.
