Misty Pink 3DS Caters to the Fairer Sex

Nintendo big boss Satoru Iwata says that 3DS sales are leaning more toward the male audience. So to get more in touch with their feminine side, Nintendo will be releasing a "Misty Pink" 3DS in Japan on October 20th. I'm getting all misty-eyed (har har) just thinking about how Nintendo cares about women. I mean, women deserve to play N64 ports in 3D, too!

No word if this Misty Pink 3DS will come stateside, but like the Flame Red 3DS, it probably will. Caveat emptor, ladies, Nintendo is likely going to redesign the 3DS very soon to include a second circle pad, so... ah fuck it. It's pink. You're going to buy it anyway.

    I don't think it really matters what color the DS comes in, cause as an old friend of mine used to say "Color doesn't matter cause they're all pink on the ins...." Oh wait he might have been talking about something else.

    Ive seen some vids online that dispute that theory... and no amount of visine and bourbon can clean my eyes of the things Ive seen.

    If they really wanted to appeal to the "fairer" sex, they wouldn't just release pink. They'd release more outlandish colours. Like bright Orange, or Yellow, or Purple. The kinds of colours that are semi-interesting.
