MLB 2K12/NBA 2K12 Combo Pack Announced

Posted on Wednesday, February 8 @ 12:27:48 Eastern by

Launching on the same day as Major League Baseball 2K12, the MLB 2K12/NBA 2K12 Combo Pack will offer both full-retail titles for the low price of $69.99 in stock at participating retailers. With the standalone Major League Baseball 2K12 being $59.99, that means NBA 2K12 will come in at the measly price of $10, which is deal for even the bargain bin (not that it belongs there just yet). Jason Argent, vice president of marketing for 2K Sports, can't be more pleased with this bundle:
If you are serious about sports gaming, this offer is simply too good to pass up. Fans waiting to get their hands on MLB 2K12 will also be able to grab NBA 2K12, our greatest basketball title to date.
Players can purchase either the combo pack or MLB 2K12 by itself to enter the $1 Million Perfect Game Challenge "in which the eight finalists who throw the highest-ranked perfect games will compete in a live tournament with the winner claiming the grand prize".

Verlander does kick his leg up pretty high when he's pitching, but definitely not that much, from what I've seen. It's not quite an accurate depiction of his mechanics. Though I will say, there are players who do certainly do that.
