Microsoft's newest console has lots of different features, but video games might hold the device back from the software giant's true intentions.

Everything I Learned About Call of Duty: Ghosts Last Week
I wasn't allowed to talk about the new Infinity Ward game last week when I met with Activision, and I don't have much to say now that Xbox One spilled the beans.

ModernWarfare3.com Domain Battle Heats Up

Posted on Monday, July 18 @ 07:24:00 Eastern by

Last week, we showed you the hilarious antics by someone that is definitely not EA. Whoever this person is (not EA) owns the domain for ModernWarfare3.com and was using it to redirect unsuspecting internet travelers to the competition's website. Instead of hitting a webpage for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, users were instead greeted by the Battlefield 3 official site. But this firefight has only just begun, it seems.

Activision has filed a domain name dispute with the National Arbitration Forum, citing that the domain is being used to directly support one of its "principal competitors".

That's not the only shots fired, either. The ModernWarfare3.com website doesn't redirect to Battlefield 3 any longer and is now a website clearly devoted to trashing the Call of Duty franchise. The new site reads:

Modern Warfare is back. On November 8, 2011, the most over-hyped first-person action series of all-time returns with the copy and paste sequel to the lackluster Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Check out the E3 2011 gameplay demo featuring the Black Tuesday level for a look at the epic fail of the campaign. Pre-Order Call of Duty MW3 Today for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC to secure exclusive bonuses only available online for Modern Warfare 3 fanboys who don't know that Battlefield 3 is the better game.

The site is also now claiming that it's "under siege" presumably referring to Activision's domain dispute and has posted in response the following video cheekily poking fun at Activision's upcoming shooter.
