Molyneux Comments On Fable Legends: "I Like The Idea"

Posted on Thursday, October 3 @ 08:23:13 Eastern by Alex_Osborn

A month ago, Microsoft announced that a new Fable game is currently in the works at Lionhead Studios for Xbox One. Since then, series creator Peter Molyneux has had time to ponder over Fable Legends and share his thoughts on the upcoming Microsoft exclusive.

In an interview with Joystiq, Mr. Molyneux spoke rather highly of the upcoming RPG, saying:

I'm now more of a fan than a person involved in it. They're very talented people [at Lionhead], I'd just be fascinated to see where they're taking it. They've announced the Legends route which I find intriguing.

I'm a fan. I like the idea, it seems to be a playful idea, and I'm gonna be fascinated to see how that evolves. Until they make a game and I can get my hands on it... then maybe I'll think to myself 'Oh God why did they do this and that?' But at the moment I'm intrigued and fascinated.

Are you excited for Fable Legends? Does the game's unique approach to multiplayer (with one player being the villain) sound like a promising concept? Sound off in the comments below and let us know.
