Monolith Soft's RPG For Wii U Unveiled, Trailer Inside

Posted on Wednesday, January 23 @ 12:32:07 Eastern by Alex_Osborn

Today's Nintendo Direct was packed with more than just core franchises from the Big N, as Monolith Soft's new role-playing game made its glorious debut as well.

The team behind Xenoblade Chronicles has been hard at work crafting a new JRPG designed specifically for the Wii U. It boasts gorgeous high definition visuals, a combat system that looks a whole lot like the studio's previously released Wii title, and some awesome monsters.

The game doesn't have a title just yet, but you'll notice that the trailer ends with a big red "X," leading one to believe that yes, this will be another entry in the Xeno franchise.
