Monster Hunter 4 Coming to 3DS, Not PS Vita

Posted on Tuesday, September 13 @ 10:06:06 Eastern by

Hey, Japan loves Monster Hunter. Nintendo wants Japan to love the 3DS. What better way to do that than with Monster Hunter?

While the 3DS Circle-Pad was leaked with the news that the Wii Monster Hunter would be making its way to the 3DS, Monster Hunter 4's development wasn't known until this morning. The fact that the next full Monster Hunter game will be on the 3DS may have Japanese gamers thinking twice about the purchase of a PlayStation Vita.

The title isn't exactly a shout out to Western gamers, but in Nintendo's backyard, the 3DS may still do just fine.

Did they say this was exclusive to the 3DS? Or just coming to the 3DS too? Something tells me that Sony will show the Vita version at their press conference tonight.

I'm definitely staying up late for that one.

What? *looks at the thumbs down Antony was given* I see nothing in Antony’s comment that deserves a thumbs downing, but I guess fanboys will be fanboys.

Sp japanese customers should think twice about buying ps vita just because a game. is this a joke? Its a big change you alreddy will get a new monsterhunter for vita and you alredy got monsterhunter 3 remasterd with hd graphics dual analog sticks on psv. and that dual analog PADS(not sticks) is the worst looking atatchment i ewer seen. if you have seen the pictures off it you know that its to big bulky and the pad is small as the one on psp and you cant control the camera in 3d with a pad only 360 2d

To be completely honest, I don't really care which handheld system it comes out for, I bet the attachment won't even be a requirement considering the PSP had only one analog stick. I mean if it is, meh, I support the monster hunter series because it's a good game and pretty much the main reason as to why the PSP sold as well as it did when Portable 3rd came out. Selling 900,000+ PSP units just because of one game lol.
