Mortal Kombat X Announced, Coming 2015 [Update]

[Update]It's official!Mortal Kombat Xis real and will be launching on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PS3, and PC next year. Check out the killer announcement trailer below.

For the first time in the series' history, Mortal Kombat Xwill offer up aroster will withmultiple versions of each character, which each variation serving up an array of different fightingstyles, adding an new layer of strategy that hardcore fighting game fans will no doubt enjoy.

[Original]A listing on Amazon UK has prematurelyouted the existence ofMortal KombatXahead of the expected official reveal by developerNetherRealm Studios next week at June's gaming expo in Los Angeles.

The store listing has since been removed, but not beforeMP1stmanaged to grab a screenshot. The description indicates a 2015 release for Xbox One,Xbox 360, PlayStation 4,PS3, and PC.

This isn't the first bit of evidence we've received regarding a new entry in the gory and gruesome fighting franchise, as a poster was leaked—teasing an E3reveal—just last week.
