Mortal Kombat Recruits Sign Spinners for Launch

Posted on Wednesday, April 13 @ 12:58:20 Eastern by

On top of months of character reveals, leaks, rumors and the other game-related fare, two feature films released on Blu-ray and an all-new web series made its debut. The hype surrounding Mortal Kombat really couldn't get any more massive. However, there are missteps that can happen that can actually decrease fan's desire for more Kombat.

A new video has surfaced showing plans for Mortal Kombat's UK launch, which manages to not only disappoint, but it leaves me bewildered. What the hell does sign spinning have to do with Mortal Kombat? Why this? Why not swords? Why not anything remotely cool or related? No, all we get is a couple of tools spinning signs around. Spoiler alert: there are no fatalities in the following video. Awwww... and there was such potential for a decapitation.
