NCsoft Donates 500M Yen To Japan Relief Effort

Posted on Friday, March 18 @ 12:17:15 Eastern by

As Japan continues to deal with aftershocks and damaged nuclear plants, NCsoft Senior Executive Sung Joon Park has announced a generous donation by his company to the relief effort:

In order to support those who have suffered from the earthquake and to help restoration, we decided to donate 500 million Yen, which corresponds to one month of sales. We’ll maintain the service with the minimal electricity and personnel. Maintaining daily life is also important; therefore, we plan to uphold the service.

To put the numbers in perspective, 500M Yen is $6.3 million USD. Thank you, NCsoft, for showing their support during this trying time.
