NetherRealm Studios Releases Batman Fighter on iOS

Posted on Wednesday, December 7 @ 13:37:01 Eastern by

New Zealand gets all the cool stuff. Lord of the Rings-themed walking trails, Flight of the Conchords... other stuff. Now this? I guess I'm siding with Australia in all of this.

That's because those Kiwis get to play Batman: Arkham City Lockdown before the rest of us. In the iPhone spinoff of Batman: Arkham City, players get to beat up Joker, Two-Face, Solomon Grundy, Deathstroke and more. The game even comes complete with alternative skins to dress Batman up with.

Currently priced at $6.45 US, this app is most definitely one of the surprises NetherRealm Studios had planned, but don't expect any blood and guts on the screen. That just wouldn't fly with Batman and friends.

Yeah, especially since it's on an iOS. I need a new smartphone while I'm thinking about that.
