New 3DS Owners Can Double Battery Life with Powerplus

Posted on Thursday, September 1 @ 13:27:59 Eastern by

I flew to Seattle and back this past weekend for PAX Prime and boy are my arms tired!

...

OK, that was terrible. Let me apologize for that. Dammit! I'm back for one day and I'm already pulling this sh** with you readers. *sigh*

Anyway, I spent a lot of time on my Nintendo 3DS over the weekend. Between two moderate flights and a whole lot of walking around collecting StreetPasses at PAX, I had to charge my 3DS about twice a day. That's just unacceptable!

Even to achieve that statistic, I had to have my 3D off and the screen at minimal brightness. Somehow I think Hyperkin knows this. They've developed the 3DS Powerplus to double the battery life of the Nintendo 3DS in a tidy, easily gripped battery pack.

With Hyperkin's device now up on Amazon, I'm going to have to take the shallow $20 plunge to be better prepared for my next flight.

What a third part accessory for a Nintendo handheld that’s never happened before. Btw that’s a funny joke Daniel. Did you come up with it all on your own?

My advice to Daniel is invest in a Kevlar vest (one that says: PRESS).
