I'm real glad jets will be included in the console versions. My assumption is that they will probably behave much like they did in the arcade battlefield 1943. Which means i will not be flying them, but will love seeing them get blown up in the distance or suddenly come crashing down right in front of me. And that is why i love the Battlefield series.

Haha, and that is why I hope there is an adequate single player or co-op level where you can get all your flight handling down. I'm sure a good portion of the team will be camping out at the jet spawn till everyone get's their flying fix.

Yeah, this x1000. And I hope people actually use that level to hone their skills because if you're out there wasting jets prepare to be team-killed.

Anybody who's played BF2 on the PC has had that happen. Worse, was loading a squad into a transport chopper and finding out six seconds into the flight the guy who's been camping the chopper spawn had jumped behind the wheel without the slightest clue how helicopters work. BOOM! Respawn. C4 the guy before the chopper respawns.

I'm getting it for PS3 too but the PC gets 64 players with more vehicles accordingly, rather than consoles 24. The maps are smaller for consoles, but I read that aircraft can travel the full map. I'm kind of jealous I don't have a PC that could run it, but it sounds like good balancing for the console hardware.

That's it, I'm dusting off my trusty joystick. Can't wait to get into any jet fighter antics in BF3.
